We decided to develop a family friendly version of Kung Pao chicken after having one too many plates of melt your face off spicy chicken. Our kitchen team got to work developing a more balanced dish than was traditional, so here it is! Our special Kung Pao chicken, with super tender chicken breast, steamed veg, and the iconic Kung Pao sauce this is a fantastic tasting dish for the whole family.

Chicken Adobo, the unofficial national dish in the Philippines is named for it’s marination process which calls for the perfect harmony of soy, vinegar, and black pepper. The kitchen team here at the food company had put in many hours of R&D to bring this balance ingredients together and to your table. A little more outlandish than some of the other dishes on our menu, it’s also one of the most tasty.

Our take on the absolute classic comfort food, this delicious lasagne is an absolute must for anyone missing a home cooked meal, almost as good as mum used to make. With just the right amount of sauce and meat, and enough cheese sauce to hug the stomach this is a gift from our kitchen to your heart.

A little taste of Central Thailand, this green curry is a sweeter, more gentle version of some of its curry cousins. A delicious blend of tender braised beef, crisp green beans, sweet carrots and our in house green curry sauce, all come together with perfectly cooked jasmine rice to complete a lovingly crafted dish.

Bó lúc låc or ‘shaking beef’ as it’s more commonly known down here in NZ, is a Vietnamese dish usually reserved for special events, but here at The Food Company, we believe everyday should be celebrated! With tender sauteed strips of beef, served with crisp steamed veg, fluffy white rice, and our own shaking sauce to pull everything together, you’ve got yourself a great reason to get happy. A kiwi classic for a modern home. We slow roast our New Zealand lamb to perfection, and serve it with the undeniable favourites, roast potatoes, kumara, and steamed peas. With a generous pour of our housemade gravy this dish comes together like a well rehearsed Haka, and is just about as Kiwi.
